Looks/and sounds great, nice work Evan. What is your rev limiter at and/or what were you taking it to in the video's? Also, it seems that 1st/2nd are a little far apart, no, or maybe short shifted? At least when compared to 2nd/3rd, I'm just the newb watching the video though, what are your thoughts?

Idk if you have ever driven any protege. That is how the gearing is in all Gseries and fseries trans. 1st and 2nd are far apart which sucks, but what are you going to do.

Evan, as I told you earlier great video and car. I showed my friends tonight they love it.

I'm not sure where the rev limiter is on my ECU. I know it will go up to 7k (thank you, Wes. Haha) I was shifting at 6500rpm, the redline. Like Justin said, that's just the gearing I'm working with inthe JDM MX-6 tranny.

I'm going to fix the rust soon, then buy a reliable DD in the fall and store the P5 for the winter, next year get my own house with a garage. Then probably the winter of 2012 turbo and LSD. Then full roll cage and more race time on track. The DD will really let me rework the entire car over the 2012 winter and start over. I will pull the motor, install a MegaSquirt and a wire tuck, build the motor a bit stronger for low boost (probably 8psi). But that's my plan over the span of 2 years. I'm just enjoying driving it as is for now. :)

I had a MSP ~6yrs ago and have driven a handful of other Protege's, P5's and MSP clones since; it just never seemed to be THAT much of difference, I was just curious as to whether he was short shifting in first (couldn't get a good look at the tach) or if I was imagining things. Looking at the ratios, I didn't suspect it would be that far apart.

Looks great though Evan, making me jealous.
