Let's make fun of establishments that are foreign to us!

Yeah i had an in n out burger for the first time just last week. Visited my folks in CA for thanksgiving, and had to check it out.
I love how simple the menu is. Burgers, fries, drink.

Most of the menu is un-printed. You can order your burger normal, animal style, protien style and probably a few others, also you can get them single, double, 3X3, 4X4 and up to 8X8. Yes, that is 8 patties on one burger. My favorite 3X3 animal style combo with Coke.:) I remenbe the first time I had the wife pick up some food on her way home from work and she thought I was tricking her with the order I gave since it wasn't on the menu. She actually had to ask if it was real and they told her it was.
It's also common to see the b and second r removed from their bumper stickers.

Thye actually had to chain and lock this sign to the pole 'cause it got stolen so many times.

There's a sign on I-81 in Virginia, not too far north of VA Tech and Radford University for a tiny little country road calld Butt Hollow Road. There's no exit for Butt Hollow Rd, and ordinarily there'd just be a small sign on the bridge where 81 goes over, but through the years, enough smart-ass VT and RU students (and others, I'm sure) have stolen the signs that the state has kept making them bigger and bigger, so they're harder to steal. The sign is now FREAKING HUGE!!!!! It may be longer than the road is wide! It's now pretty much impossible not to know that you are passing over Butt Hollow Road.

Near Naples Florida on vacation a few years back we ate at "Hungry Howy's"(a pizza buffet) and "Sneaky Pete's"(a sports-bar type place), which my dad mistakened for "Skanky Hank's" when recalling the good food.

There's also a bait shop we took a pic at(don't know where the pic is however) called "Master Bait and Tackle". Pretty funny.

They also have "Publix" grocery stores down there, which my dad called "Pubics".

Not many wierd places in St. Louis that I can think of, other than our Carl Jr.s are Hardee's...there's one right by my house. And we have a Jack Schmitt car dealership, which uses the slogan "You don't know Jack Schmitt". I got a Jack Schmitt plate frame at work and cut the "c", "m", and first "t" off with a razor blade but someone threw it out before I could finish it.

Forgot to mention that also in that area of Florida there's "Juicy Lucy's" small burger joints. Lots of rhyming names down there.

out here in CA (maybe more western states, I don't know) we've got Vons, a large grocery chain. I've seen these around mostly the LA area.

vons is the socal division of safeway. pak&save is also part of the same company.

what, no one's making fun of Wawa?

then again, wawa > other convenience stores.

the store that freaks me out is "ABC store" in honolulu. 39 stores on Oahu alone. some intersections have one on 3 of the 4 corners. ridiculous.
