Leavin the MSP world and getting.......

OK ok..i know i have ranted and raved about the MSP..but me and my gf(soon to be my wife) sat down and talked cars. I have a crap load of broshures. Civic SI, WRX 03+04, EVolution8, MSP, Saturn ION, VUE, and Ford Fucus.


Well we have narrowed it down to...........................

i saw two at an autox event on sunday. Those thing blow my mind, they sound awesome.

the AWD beasts aka rally monsters. i really want one of those. the evo and STi are going to dominate the WRC. just don't get an SRT (ooooo i said it). the one at Rim didn't even finish (testament to dodge's AWESOME reliability and build quality, and 4 u agr, those rear cranks... lol) oh yeah the protege finished 4th in group 2 and 27th (i think) overall (thats right, there is a rally protege (mp3?) out there on the scca pro rally circuit. GOOD LUCK STP!!!

It's Apples and Oranges, but I would still choose Mazda reliability over either the Mitsu or the Subaru. I mean; Damn!! $20,500 versus $35,000!!! Between the two however; I would have to choose the STi. And that car doesn't even come with a radio!! Now; just how ******* stupid is that for a street car??!! A little arrogant, I think. (chair)

i don't have details. but most likely it was either a crash or mechanical failure. a crash usually doesn't stop rally drivers, they just flip it over, push it out, or move it over and keep driving. i've seen drivers rip off hanging bumpers in mid stage and keep going.

I think it's a stupid ass idea. Hey folks!! It's not an F40 Ferrari. It's a ******* Subaru!! Wake up!! At least put a radio in a frickin' street car! What fools!

You know? I see a new Evo about every day. My MAZDASPEED is a hell of a lot better looking car. I don't give a damn that it's 271/271. Both of them are going to cost you about $12,000 - $15,000 more than our MAZDASPEEDs!!

Does anything I say here make any sense at all to some of you?

...um yeah... many high quality teams with high quality cars get DNF's. Its just part of rallying. Don't get me wrong...I have no special love for the srt4 but come on now.

Evo is a cool car for sure..but its apples and oranges comparing it to the MSP like AGR said...If I had an extra 15K laying around I might get one...They are marking them up way too much around here though, some are pushing 38K...Thats seems way too much for that car, but if you can get one, more power to you...

6 speaker system according to the canadian subie site. I don't know if "no stereo" in the states is true. I honestly doubt it.
