Ok, I have had it with crap breaking in my house and s*** going wrong everywhere I turn. Since I'm here alone, dont know anyone handy and dont have the money for a repair man, I went to work on the problem with the washer myself. The washing machine has been leaking water all over the utility room, flooding it out for weeks. You couldn't do not ONE load of laundry without it flooding. So, being the person that I am... I grabbed some tools and had at it.
I took the hoses off the back of the washing machine along with the clamps. Then tilted the frekin heavy ass machine to one side and took off the other hoses. The white thing in the middle thats connected to the motor had pieces of torn plastic inside a tube that connects to one of the hoses. It needed to have those pieces removed. I couldn't find a needlenose so I grabbed some tweezers and took the piece out. I found that a hose needed replacing, so I went to Home Depot and got a new one close enough to the original manufactured hose. Then put back on all the clamps and hoses, screwed the back of the washer back on and did a load of laundry.
It now works with no flooding. So screw Mr. Washing Machine! Now if I can just fix everything else in my life to work out right, I'll be happy.
