Lanzar amp warranty????

My lanzar amp (248Vibe) is fried after only 6 months of normal use (i.e. No abuse, misuse, or tampering). Has anyone here ever sent anything back to Lanzar for warranty? If so, any success with them fixing or replacing the product?

I'm kinda worried that they won't do anything about it. I called them on 3 occasions yesterday to get some information on how to go about this, and the "customer representatives" I was talking to didn't seem very professional. I'm just getting the impression that Lanzar Audio Inc. is somewhat sketchy... shady... :eek: Any thoughts on this :confused:
 
Lanzar is complete garbage. Nothing reputabale or decent about them.

that being said. Nothing goes back to lazar directly it has to go back to where you bought it from. If you did not buy from an authorized dealer you are SOL and have no warrenty.

Where did you buy it and where they an authorized dealer?

Either way contact the store you bought it from for warrenty info.
 
I actually contacted their service department directly in Brooklyn, and they told me to ship it over along with proof of purchase, and a letter explaining the problem with the amp. So I did that today. I guess I'll wait a week or two and call them back to check on the status. Thanks for your help, and I totally agree about their reputation.
 
Where did you get it though?
You have to be certain they were authorized dealers or you will be getting a bill for the repair and bench charge.
