Hey guys, I tried searching around for a post similar to my issue but I wasn't able to find one. I'm having an issue with my 2008 Mazda CX9 FWD, the "Smart-Card" is able to lock/unlock the car but when trying to start it throws the 'KEY' light and doesn't allow me to turn car over. However, holding the unlock button will allow it to start so that is a solution but I hope a temporary one. My predicament with this issue is that I had lost the Valet Key that goes into the card so I don't have the option to use it unless I get a new key cut, so if there is a way to solve without a locksmith that would be amazing.
