Key Fob question

First off I'm new. I've got a Lazer Blue 03 MP5.

I bought this car in November (47 000 Kilometers) and I have mixed feelings about it. I've had to replace both rear link kits and sway bar bushing due to noises. One rear caliper and it looks like a bearing on the way.

Next week the vehicle gets a new rear main seal (under warranty) but still....it has 60 000 kilometers on it, so that is a little crazy.

Oh well I do like the car for all the same reasons I fell in love with it when I first test drove it.

Anyways I've searched on this site for Key Fob programming and I could only find stuff for the Mazda 3.

I locked the car with the fob today, went into the office and when I came out the fob wouldn't work. Not a big deal, I figured I would change the battery. Now....I did that and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Welcome to the site! Sorry you're having troubles with your Protege5 :(

I love mine, and I'm at.. 130,000KM without any problems at all, and she's turboed :)

Thanks,

Don't get me wrong. I love mine too. I hope it is starting to settle down. A turbo one must be fun. This is just a daily driver for me. My project and fun vehicle is a 75' Early Bronco.

Mine is a daily driver as well, hence 130000km :)

it's fun turbo, but I miss being able to beat on the car all day and still only use 7.8litres per 100km or less!

Bronco, eh? any pics? The old broncos are a ton of fun, but check out the new concept bronco photos just released: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3083640#post3083640

I think it looks amazing, it has a lot of styling cues taken from the classics too :) plus with a 2.0 turbodiesel 4-cylinder yum

This is my Bronco. It has taken a lot of work to get it back to that point. .
