Actually, I heard Jeb speak at one of the FEMA press meetings after the hurricanes, and he was quite the speaker. Much better prepared/impromptu speaker than his brother. I don't know anything about Florida politics/govt, so he could be a total asshat, but he seems to carry himself much better than GW.

I'm seriously at a loss... The majority of voters actually thought "The past 4 years of war, horrid economic, environmental and social policy has been great! Lets have 4 more years of this!"

!?!?!?!?!

Perhaps not, that is just one thought on the past four years. Some people are probably scared of what Kerry would do. For all you knew he could have kept them there, funny thing about politics what they say in the elections is often reversed when in office with other pressures. There are issues on each side that picked bones within each voter, hopefully those that voted feel they did on what they felt was right.

The Bible approves this:
If you find out a city worships a different god, destroy the city and kill all of it's inhabitants... even the animals. (Deuteronomy 13:12-15)
Kill anyone with a different religion. (Deuteronomy 17:2-7)

Kerry doesn't.

LOL, hopefully all the liberal hippy douchebags will not ask for recounts, and drag this out as long as possible!

totally agree with you. I give props to Jeb on how he handled the hurricanes, trying to recover and prepare at the same time was pretty overwhelming, while Jax, pretty much got missed (directly) by them all.

One of the main beefs I have with him is education... the state makes the FCAT, a standardized test, impossible for most people to pass. The FCAT is then used to grade how good a school is...if lotta people don't pass it, school looks bad... gov't turns around and says that tax payers need to pay for school vouchers that send kids to private school (even though most parents can afford it) for free because the school systems appears to suck so bad. Now being a broke college student, I'm really missing that Kerry proposed $4K tuition tax credit. Oh well maybe next election a candidate can actually try to show concern for the 18-25 age group, but if it was between GW and Jeb, i would pick have to pick Jeb b/c he does sound a bit more educated.

the american people..to quote a Canadian News person, "...simply chose the devil they know, over the new guy"...oh well, maybe our dollor will surpass yours now...though hockey better get back and kickin or else there may be some real trouble..lol. Stil, I can't believe this..and above all else..I thought there was something about seperation of Church and state...apparently not huh? well, maybe I'll become an American Citizen, and start preaching and become president..better yet, I'll just talk in circles, and pay my way through a reputable school, and become the worst speaker ever...but hey, if I'm Catholic..or atleast fake like I am..I'll get voted in....I really hope there are some riots for the SOB to deal with...on a side note...at least he didn't cheat this time

They used their influence to sway voters towards Bush.

"these bishops and like-minded Catholic groups are blanketing churches with guides identifying abortion, gay marriage and the stem cell debate as among a handful of "non-negotiable issues.""

"To the dismay of liberal Catholics and some other bishops, traditional church concerns about the death penalty or war are often not mentioned."

Abortion, stem cell research, gay marriage - bad
War, death penalty - good

Doesn't matter what the 10 commandments are, they are picking whatever suits their own agenda.

They will count provisioanl votes but I just got this from ABC News:

"Elections experts said it would be virtually impossible for Kerry to catch Bush in Ohio via the provisional ballots."
