Kartboy shifters

but remember, its short throw, not short height =P

this will work on a 02 protege ES

it is shorter by a considerable amount from the non mazdaspeeds, and it is a short throw as well

Just curious of those who own the kartboy for the msp, if they have also had experience with the twm, and which would they prefer between the two. I heard that twm is more like stock height but the throw is shorter, vs kartboy is shorter in height and throw. True or not true, opinions, preferences? Thank you.

The K4RTB0Y is shorter than the stock Protege shifter and has a shorter throw. I have had mine since 2004 when I bought mine at ProtegeFest in San Diego directly from Kartboy.

yea the TWM has a shorter throw but its not much shorter than stock

the kartboy is definately (from my preference) better...its shorter throw and because its shorter in height it makes the gears feel closer together, which is something that you gain over the TWM (thumb)
