needless to say, my brakes were doneski lol new stuff in, one new fender on, other one in a few. Fixed my oil leak, so hopefully no more smoking.
Also making a bracket to hold the bulb in place in the headlight. Im tired of my wire letting the bulb jump around in the housing. 2nd O2 bung in, and heat wrap back on. Gettin stuff done feels good :D

Yea, ive had pretty good experience with the green stuff pads in the past. The old ones I pulled off were actually the same thing lol

I found out why I was leaking oil. The AN fitting was turning, up until a certain point, where it hit one of the bolts holding the compresser housing on. So i managed to get it as tight as possibe once I filed down the top part of the fitting. Also painted one of the cold pipes, put the downpipe back on, other fender, and Im about to drop the car (from jack stands) and then im done for today.

and yes, the fenders are staying red for now lol they are actually really shiny...the guy I bought them from took good care of the paint. Got both for $50 with blinkers :D

nope. the msp never came in red, for some stupid reason. ive seen a red msp conversion and its awesome

I got them because my stock fenders were dented to s***, and these are perfect.
And I explained my reasoning on leaving them red for now in the above post.
BTW these are off a 2003.5 P5, 02's didnt have side markers but 03 and 03.5's did..im going to try and wire them in as running lights

well im getting a job here soon...got an interview at Hendrick Mini here in charlotte on monday, hopefully all goes well. If i get the job im going to start buying parts like mad lol
a list of parts I want to buy before I get wheels...which is going to be hard, because I REALLY want wheels lol

*AWR Race Pan (has -10AN fitting already welded on)
*M- Factory LSD
*ACT Extreme Duty Clutch w/ Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel (Any input on this setup?)
*OEM Spec trans rebuild kit
*SS Clutch Line
*GTX 3rd and 5th
*Oil Jet
*3" Exhaust tubing to finish my exhaust
*More T-bolt clamps
all this depends on my hours...im not supposed to start until summer, but im going to talk with them to see if they'll let me do a part time deal until then. Hopefully they'll be cool about it.

I have the awr pan and the bung was only a 8an. I bought a replacent fitting that screwed right in but I just wanted to give you a heads up.
Also, im running the fidanza but with a competition stage 3 clutch. It looks like a 10 puck but has a flat face backing which makes its a flat disk which is easier to daily. I was going to run the act xtreme duty with the street disc but it was on backorder and wont hold what this competition clutch will. Just remember that a clutch's torque rating come from the torque at the flywheel, not the actual wheels

i believe street unit has an awesome clearance price on the msp oem upgraded differential. only 250 $.....

Sweet! thanks for the heads up...i read in the description of the pan that it came with -8 or -10..but there wasnt anywhere to choose which one lol may have to call them when I buy it to make sure I get the right one. I really want to stay away from a puck type clutch, i daily this every day and dont want to have to deal with an insane clutch release and super stiff pedal lol. What brand is your clutch? Crossover has more to offer from SPEC, but i really dont like there stage 1 thats in the car now.

Wow...thats actually really cheap...BUT i dont want to have to mess with welding the s***. I would much rather upgrade at the same time. Wish I could get a quiafe, but im not a big baller like that yet lol

Damn dude, is she up and running yet or you still haven't been able to fix that oil problem? Want to see more videos! :D

Every time that muther enters he wins, like I know his s*** is clean but a MS RX-8 is hardly something new..just seems like a lot of people are more on his jock than appreciating the car...(shrug)

Honestly, i think hes car is boring :/

yea i appreciate the work and how clean it is, it just doesnt do it for me

LOL...if you only knew how much custom work I have done to it. It's difficult to judge in photos for sure. Not bragging, but I take home 1st Place in the Mazda class at almost every show I attend. If you read up on my blog you may gain some more insight. http://altspacerx8.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the support!

P.S. For those who don't know, I rocked a kickin' P5 before the RX-8. ;)

I just replaced my old leaky oil return to my awr with a -10AN atp replacement. Possibly awr did -8 and -10??
