well the fd's seem to have dissapeared...oh wells. I sold the MX-5's this weekend for $300, 200 dollar profit for repainting one wheel lol not bad
also finally finished this, I started it over 3 years ago...and never finished it until now.

done for the most part, still need to put my plastic panels in eventually but im in no rush to do that
also, just found out my turbo drain is STILL leaking...no clue why, i had this same problem with my t25 turbo drain, leaking right at the gasket,
it leaks right onto the heat wrap, which is probably why the car smokes so much lol

ok, just took it on a drive and did a little dataloging. According to the split second im making 11psi at 3800rpm (boom01)
jesus, and I wondered why i was bogging down, I have to alter the whole map pretty much, but im not sure if I want to until I finish the exhaust...the car really isnt that loud so I may not even finish it lol

do everything you can to make your exhaust as quiet as possible so all that anyone hears is loud spooling turbo haha

lol nah, im just gonna keep it loud, **** it

and to my 11psi comment...apparently my SSAFC is ****** up, the readings are way off. At rest the SSAFC is reading 10psi....wtf
I reset the ssafc and it still is reading that. I blow into the hose (no homo) and it goes up, suck (no homo again) and it goes down
but its reading 10psi instead of 0 or vacuum. Dont know what to do here

well i went through and double checked all the settings on the SSAFC, for some reason, the OG map was on additional injector controller instead of AFC
and the setting was on gauge pressure instead of vacuum/pressure, so im guessing that was what was wrong. Im going to try it again tomorrow. Hopefully this fixes it and the car will run better. Im reaaaaaaally hoping this was it, easy fixes are awesome

was spewing raw gas out of the exhaust on the way to school this morning...needless to say, my car is running rich
10 AFR's at ALL TIMES. Im leaning s*** out right on the map, gotta get this car driving right

yea, im trying but nothing seems to be working. It idles fine, slowly accelerates fine, but as soon as i accelrate normal, like from a light, it goes straight to 10, its very annoying
And then i get back from trying out my changes and the car starts to sputter and wants to die...wtf

Go crazy south with it. I have mine dOwn in the 8s on the SS(not afr)

I can send you my map. I have a couple that will work for you.

Yea i figured i didnt go low enough, i had it at 9.5 all the way up to 0psi
I really just want to get the vac section tuned right now, so i can actually drive the car. But whats confusing the hell out of me, is all the other 440 maps in the SSAFC thread, dont have anything tuned in vac....how the hell does the car run right?

The stock ecu controls it. The map I have that's how it works.

What's your email I'll send you the map (or two)

Then you can check it out.

The stock ECU can pull that much fuel? I just changed all my vac settings to 10 so I just have to upload it and try it out to see if the computer actually does pull enough fuel

Ok, did some tuning today! car is tuned all the way up to 0.5 psi, after that im sure it will get super rich, but I can work with that pretty easily. Im getting used to tuning and how much each .1 cell value changes the AFR's so its getting easier and easier. RIght now my idle cell value is 9.7, which makes the car idle at 12-13 when cold, but as soon as it warms up, its perfect :D

so now the car idles, and drives perfect. I will be ordering more 3" pipe sometime soon to finish the rest of the exhaust, im not going to do the original plan of 3" to 2.5".
I also need to weld the 2nd O2 bung in so the CEL will go off, and I need to bend the high side AC hose to clear the DP, makes some crazy vibration noises at times.
