well ****, the car started, but in my rush to start it, i didnt put the EGR cap on the manifold. So i looked for the EGR cap....cant find it anywhere, tore the whole garage apart looking for that ******* piece. Then I go out to the car to look around in it, notice oil on the ground. The return line is leaking...apparantly the bolts bottomed out in the turbo instead of tightening...so im done with the car for today, if i look at it anymore im going to end up ******* something up

well went to lowes, bought a cap...after 2 trips got the right one, its 1/2" FIP in case any one was wondering...
also cut the bolts on the oil drain shorter, tightened them back up so no more leak, but now the car doesnt want to run for more then 15 seconds....not sure why really
might be the MAF still having some oil on it, or maybe the turbo pushes more air at idle causing the stock inj. to max out? input is awesome

oh and i took a video, not great but it'll do lol

after some research, ive come to the conclusion that the MAF is probably still dirty, so ill clean it when i get home from school and see if that helps any
I really hope i dont have to buy a new one...i JUST bought this one brand new a few months ago, and it was expensive

DAT SOUND.

Will that O2 sensor always be poking the rad? Seems kinda dangerous to me.

its actually got some space...was kinda nervous about it at first, but it doesnt look like it will touch it any, ill be keeping an eye on it though

as for the exhaust, working on it now, then all I need to run the car, are those got dam injectors! was supposed to get them last weds but the dude was having some housing trouble, hopefully i can get them this week from him.

welded my 2.5"-3" adapter to some 3" pipe, made the mid pipe section of the exhaust,
only got two pics, was pretty easy actually...took me like 30-40 mins

You know, when I start my engine and it's good and hot it also tends to have a lumpy idle (just like we saw in the video). I don't think that problem is specific to your car, mine will idle poorly for maybe 5 seconds then recover and run like normal.

awesome man, cant wait to see some pulls.

why not full 3" all the way back? that 2.5" is somewhat restrictive

Where did you get that 2.5-3 transition for the exhaust.?

ATP turbo, its a pretty nice piece actually. Dont remember how much it was, but it wasnt expensive

mainly because of the extra time and money it would take for me to make a full 3" lol
i just used all the 3" pipe I had and am makin the rest 2.5"

440cc's, im supposed to be getting them from a local guy...but he isnt responding to my txts, and thats the last thing I need to make the car driveable
If I sell my ground controls before he gets back to me im just buying them new
