280 shipped, the rears are still on the car, but as soon as I finish the exhaust i can take them off and post pics if your interested
had a few people ask about them already
 
started on the pie cut section, right when i was getting in the zone with welding, i ran out of wire
ever since i put new wire in there, the welding machine keeps ******* up, and I cant weld worth s***, it was incredibly frustrating, so i gave up
not sure if its the wire that i put in there, or the settings on the machine
 
Check the tension that keeps the constant pressure on the wire. (what kinda welder do you have?)
 
Its a MIG, fluxcore...cheap s*** lol
I checked the tension a few times, the wire will come out constant, but theres this crazy black smut on both sides of the weld and the welds keep bubbling up
 
Can be 1 or all of these things: Too hot and/or too slow travel speed; Wrong gas and/or wrong cup angle; Gas lines not sealed,leaking argon or sucking in air.
 
Ill mess with it again today to see if i can figure something out, im thinking its just the wire though
thats the only thing I changed, weld angle was the same, amperage was the same, couldnt even get a decent travel speed cuz the wire was spitting all over the place
 
Did it feel like the wire was pushing the gun back when it was splattering? If so the wire speed might be too fast.
 
yea, i turned the speeddown a little, and i believe i fixed it lol the tip was pretty dirty, covered in soot,
so i took it off and ran some old wire through it a few times,
hit it with a wire brush and seems to be welding better on a test weld i just did, but i just noticed im almost out of 3" tube for the pie cut,
hopefully advanced has some for cheap, if not ill be ordering another 4' section from JEGs

lol im too close to give up now, just a few more cuts and welds (and injectors) and im done

Lol I guess I thought maybe your phone died lol oswell. Did you atleast get s*** done?

the fed ex people didnt come...not sure why, so i have to buy some ******* heat wrap from advanced tomorrow before the car meet (carolina mazdas meet)

I was there when it came off stands.... stance is beautiful

I was going to try and finish it for tomorrows carolina mazdas meet, but i really dont want to rush it last minute and **** something up, the heat wrap didnt show up today, and im not going to shell out the extra money to buy some when I can just wait for it to get here. As of right now, here is a list of things that need to be done
*Fix camber on front drivers side (wasnt paying attention when i put the coils on lol)
*Put 440's in
*Upload t3/t4 440 map
*Finish rest of exhaust
*Heat wrap downpipe/midpipe
*Buy wastegate circlip
thats about it...ill update if i remember anything else, but man do i miss driving my car :(
 
Damn man that is low........... Even if I parked on the street I could not make it to work being that low......... Looks badass IMHO
