im about to post up some pics of my headliner and of my intake that i "made"
used my NA injen intake, chopped it up a bit and used it, but im also making a bypass valve of sorts since the intake is really low in the engine bay to ensure i dont suck up water
i have to go buy some mesh from lowes and then ill post pics

i actually do not, he doesnt have a website as far as i know

i got it from a member on here who gets them direct from Thunder in japan
his name is Protephile, you can PM him and get some more info on it and see if he has any laying around

do you have any pictures from under the car? i want to clock my new turbo, but i dont see how i can run the hot pipe since the downpipe is in the way

nah i have the stock thermostat housing, its pretty close to the DP but not in any way hitting it
ill take some pics in a sec to clarify

kinda hard to see, but these are the pics of the hot pipe, best i could get now, u can see the pipe in the background of the 1st pic and how close it is to the DP

Dude that is weirdest! awesomest! Most bad ass headliner I think I have ever seen!! hahaha. Car looks amazing dude!!

nope, i used it from my stock stuff
the hole is only like 2" big but i opened it up a bit with dremel, i didnt want to not put a gasket in there

ok so today i installed the 626 manifold and man does it feel good to have a normal idle again
first impressions are the car def pulls harder, BUT still only boosts 6psi
so ive narrowed it down to either a boost leak at the turbo-hotpipe coupler OR
a wastegate problem

im checking both tomm when i do a few more things
*oil change-first one with synthetic oil, some will say its too early, but if the engines not broken in by now then i did something wrong
*Oil pan gasket-to finally fix that dam oil leak
*Oil Drain-New setup, pushlock -10AN fittings with silicon hose
*New coolant setup- -6AN to 1/4NPT, -6AN to Pushlock, hose to coolant fitting on turbo
*Paint turbo manifold with flameproof paint
*Put hotpipe on turbo before putting on the engine to ensure no leaks

then hopefully i should have some piece of mind for a while

Top off coolant and hope for no leaks :) then take car to Advanced Auto to see what the CEL i have is, im thinking its the VICS/VTCS solenoids not having vacuum hooked up

Supposedly, the vics/vtcs won't throw a code as long as their still plugged in properly.

hmmm, i was wondering how tht would work with this manifold but i couldnt find that anywhere
the sensors are still plugged in but they dont have any vac lines hooked up to them
i deleted the egr too when i was installing it :) i left the sensor plugged in but cut off the pipe and left like an inch so now it sucks in clean air
cut and welded the manifold section shut, was pretty easy

im thinking the code might be a random missfire, its wierd though cuz as soon as i started the engine the code came up..

Sounds like something is unplugged then; I've noticed every CEL I've ever got right on start up was something unplugged. All else took 20mi or so to pop up.

When u had the misfire problem, was it when u were in boost and it was like one of the plugs wasn't fire correctly all the sudden?
