So many misfire problems with the proteges lately.

word, i got it figured out though, the idle is still kinda bumpy, like i have cams,
and the turbo spools alot better now that the fuel actually goes into the cylinder and not on the top of intake manifold lol
i think i fixed most of the leaks now, put some silicone and hose clamps on the coolant lines and i sure hope they dont leak tomm.

i have to put the gauges in and change the oil and filter before i leave tomm for a 3 hour drive back "home"

ok guys so i think the engine is officially broke in, it made the drive from fayetteville to charlotte yesterday, which is 3 hours roughly
didnt leak to much fluid at all, i guess once the turbo get really hot it expands enough to stop leaks?

but turn out i dont have an oil leak from the bung i welded on the pan, its coming from the actual oil pan itself
so when i go back next week im going to order a oil pan gasket and see how that works, im just using rtv right now

gauges still arent hooked up, i suck at electrical s*** so its goin to take me a while lol

Tisk tisk. RTV ftl on the oil pan. I used a cork gasket from autozone, worked perfect

I'm using permatex ultra grey on my pan and never had a leak

yea thats actually the exact stuff i used, but its leaking out of that hole where u put a bolt in to separate the oil pan from the windage tray
im just going to go to get that cork gasket and use permatex on both side of it, hopefully it works

Dude, I hear ya. I'm like that a lot, having to redo the same s*** is just annoying.

yea, right now im just letting the s*** leak, its like 2 drops of coolant and oil every 50 miles so im not too worried about it, i have a quart of oil and a half gallon of coolant in the car just in case lol

lol idk i was just lookin through them and saw this one and thought it was funny

and idk why but everytime i try to do a new sig pic it always says the file is too big, and urs is way bigger then mine would be so im not sure whats goin on

I use photobucket links in my sig, not mazdas247's uploader thing, thats why. I'll see what I can do when I get home since I'm handicapped at work. lol

ok so, driving today some dude pissed me off with his driving, hit the gas to pass him and i was gone, shifted and hit the gas again, and i got power, clutchslip, power, clutchslip....

so i thought the Spec stage 1 would be able to handle the power since its rated to 260HP
so this means i have more then 260HP or what lol

i could have just been hesitation, idk, i drove somewhere else and no clutch slip so im not sure, it was only that one time

260 at the crank is like 213 tq to the wheels so that is definately close

My Exedy Stage 1 is like 300 crank and I'm close to 350 to the wheels and it's still holding so???

yea it was def hesitation, i got it fixed now though, i uploaded a different map to my SS and now it pulls hard as ****, i think im going to up the boost, cuz according to my SS in real time mode, im only running approx 7-8 psi so im going to up it to 10 and see how that goes

i tuned the rough idle out now so now all i need to do is fix my dam oil leak and hook all my gauges up and im set to post videos
well i could actually make a video now if i wanted but i think im going to let you guys wait
