Just got my MS6

Sweet car and color. I always wanted the WP MS6 but settled for BCM....oh well.

Wow. You traded in an 06 S2000 for a Speed 6? Ok, Well, I own both, so I guess you don't like me now. HAHA

Seriously, interesting trade. To go from a pure sports car to an AWD luxury sports sedan. I use my Speed 6 as my daily driver/winter beater, because of how comfortable it is. Either way, interesting trade there, with two cars that could not possibly be more different. That's why I own both, because they compliment each other perfectly for my lifestyle. I hope you enjoy this as your combination fun car, daily driver. Good luck!!! :)

haha...yes i do hate you....because I wish i could have both! the s2000 is an awesome car...I was actually leasing it.....and ended the lease a yr early......I wanted to mod the car but got worried about Honda Lease Trust dickin me over at the end.....The drop top was awesome at the beginning but then started to just be a novelty for me....If I want open air I'll probably get another street bike. I used to have a 02 F4i which no car can even match in terms of sense of speed & excitement. I'm suprised by the low resale on the s2000's.....there is an 06 with only 3000 miles in my area going for 24k....the original sticker price was 10k higher!

Yeah, they simply have made the S2K too long. So many higher mileage used models available for anywhere between 12-15k, people aren't so pressed to buy newer low mileage ones for 26-27k. It's dropped the resale value down. I usually trade in my cars every 2-3 years, but The S2000 is gonna have to stay. The Speed 6 is a lease , and initially I was gonna buy it out and keep it, but I'm gonna hand it back to them in July. I don't keep these high HP daily driver cars past warranty anyway, so with the killer lease deal I got on it, I definitely got my money's worth. I'm gonna miss that car though. Tempted to do the buyout, so we'll see. The Speed 6 might be a handful financially after the warranty and into the 80-100k mile mark, so I can't imagine keeping it. It's possible I'll go with a Speed 3 in the fall, or perhaps just buy a cheap beater, and save my money. ;)

I'd love to go back to the STI, but I can't unless I sold my S2K. The market is bad on the S2K anyway, so I can't take the financial hit. I'm better off keeping it for 5 years. I hope you didn't take it too bad in the rear trading in your 06. ;)

i know exactly what you mean....there are tons of AP1's with low miles going in the mid-teens....maybe in a few yrs ill get another AP2 for 18 grand? What do you think of the new STi's?....i liked the look more than i thought i would.

WAYYY niver then my 04. I loved having the first model year, but ultimately I thought a trade in on a Speed 6 lease to get something that's not nearly as noticable is a good thing. Of course I lose a lot of performance on that trade, but gained so much luxury and looks. :)

That car drew wayyy too much negative attention. The new STI (I'm a hatchback guy at heart) is exactly what I love. Very tame, not boy toyish, more utility, more refined, and just a better car period then my 04. No way after all this car leasing and buying over the last 5 years can I afford it without saying goodbye to my S2000. I don't love it that much. ;)
