Just got my car Re-Flashed And....

and maybe some pics too if possible. Wonder if this would help performance at all seeing as it is a larger diameter.

We'll do..I'll try and snag a digital camera.

Performance increase; hard to tell.

The dealership said they never replaced any air sensors (for which I thought perhaps this was my problem).

all they did was fix a vaccum leak is sounds like. they just are using a new intake hose...

Leak...all indications would indicate Yes, but tests concluded (prior to the new hose), that there was no leak.

I had the same problem for the first day, then it went away. The tach would jump all over the place and the light or when I came to a stop. It is gone now.

No. 5, did you get the part # for the air intake hose that Mazda installed? Does your car still stall after a couple of months with the larger diameter air intake hose installed?

I recently had my car flashed and my sway bar buschings replaced. Everything seems to run fine now, though the engine does stall but starts right back up while I'm still in neutral. Would like to resolve all of this if I could get the part number for the air intake hose.

Anyone have any more news regarding the engine stall?

One other thing, there is now a TSB for the "Clunk" in the rear suspension. As mentiond, they replaced the sway bar buschings with a new busching. The mechanic I spoke with said the TSB replaces the buschings with a new teflon busching. I asked if I could see the old buschings but said he had already boxed them up. My apologies but I don't have the TSB number but I did see that it applied to both the MP3 and the Mazdaspeed. We'll see how these new teflon buschings fair after a few months of driving.

Happy driving!

Looking at my service records, there was no actual part # given. As per what was stated,

COMPLAINT: CUSTOMER REPORTS STALLING WHEN DEPRESSING CLUTCH AFTER WIDE OPEN THROTTLE
CAUSE: INTAKE AIR FLOWING UPSTREAM CAUSING STALL
CORRECTION: INSTALL COLD AIR INTAKE UNIT PROVIDED BY MAZDA CANADA.

My car has NOT stalled once since the new unit was installed, nor has it been close to.

PM me if you want information on how to go about getting it solved for you.

As per the bushings, part #BN7H-28-156E....I've had them installed since Sept.25th, and still no clunk. Let's see how much longer they will last.
