Damn 17.99 that's slow! I ran a 17.45 stock and had horrid launches and heatsoak. Thats why the HP is so low also. It's a function of the acceleration. Is your car an auto?
Neat gadget though. I like the fact that you can interface with a PC
It's accuracy is decent at best, but what it DOES have is consistency. Meaning you can really gauge the difference your mods make, because the results are consistent with each other.
