No, it is not ruled out yet. But we are going to get some more quotes possibly. I must admit, it did take the wind out of my sails.
I still desire to own one though, but when, I don't know.

Well, I think I am back in the game. I just got an email from a P5 owner in Livonia (close to me) who works in insurance who has quoted me a HUGE savings on my auto insurance. So...tomorrow the wife and I will go to the dealer to check one out.

I got an even cheaper rate on my insurance by telling them it was just a Protege and not a Protege5. Even though they are a big super insurance company that deals with these things all the time they are stil quite ignorant about the difference between the cars.

I drove a 5 sp tonight and loved it.
Got a Number for monthly payments that sounded like music to my ears so I am taking the wife over tomorrow to drive it and then probably buy it.
