My car is forever changed, these things are so amazing. I am still messing with my ride height and getting things set. I also installed my AWR 21.5 mm rear sway bar and Front strut tower bar. My car rides like it is on rails. I still need a alignment so I will post my full report and pics of install on Thursday. This is a modification I highly recommend. The ride is firm but the the struts do a good job of soaking up the bumps. They look great and give extra clearance for wider rims a added bonus. I purchased them from Rishie at Auto R&D and he has very good pricing. They were very simple to install and you require no special tools to install them it is a one day project average would be up to maybe 9hours, for the novice maybe a little more. Sorry no pics yet but I was so excited I have to share. :D

It took us 2 hours to install them on the P5. But we've set this type of coilover up before and new where to set the ride height.

Wanted to remind you that when changing the damping settings you must go all the way back to zero and then up to your preferred setting.

Hey Dave, where do you have damping set.

I did mine at 5 front and 7 rear I believe. Will need to double check.

Thanks, Rishie

Ya know I forgot to do that, ( set dampner ). I new my car could not be that stiff. Well I took your suggestion and set them to 5 and 7 this morning and the car ride is alot softer and even more agile. It is a little weird when you are braking and the car no longer dives at all. This makes a big difference in stopping power. Or maybe it is just me. Thanks again for the question I was going to call you about it today. Where is your ride height set Rishie? Hear is the picture of my car slammed. Did not drive it this way just pulled it out of the garage, washed it and took a picture. Then raised it up and went for a ride.

Thanks JDM I thought nobody else had these. My car rides like a dream and corners like it is on rails. I can push the car as far as my tires can go and it will not break loose. i could not be more pleased with this mod. Now I need wheel and tires, stock rubber is not going to do. I will be representing out in Las Vegas here in about a week, glad to meet you.

theyre the same thing :p

1700 is club price but PM Rishie better deal may be able to be made. They should fit in a Mazda Speed the same as a MP3 or regular Protege but I can not be for sure. Maybe Rishie can talk to JIC for you and make sure. Good Luck

They will fit the MSP as all the 01' and 02' Proteges are the same chassis. I say call him up and order them for your MSP and blow the doors off of all other stock MSP's on any auto cross course.
