JIC-Magic 505 SuS is here!

Ok, here are some pictures of it installed. I took these right before the sleet hit:

thanks MP3Skater. Whos car is it on? Yours?

Linux, Looks pretty damn sweet man. Quick Question, How hard was the install. Since this is just a cat back there is no welding right? The reason I ask is that I have seen a few catbacks for my truck that require a couple of welds for a complete install. This system from your pics looks like it should all just bolt up. Did you need anything else like gaskets?

Man now I just need to decide which one to get. Will probably wait and see it in person at the NC/SC meet and then decide.

No welding requiered! It took me a little longer to install because I unwittingly took off my 2nd cat. I had to put that back on, and then tighten everything up. Some big-ass pliers will help you if you have trouble with the rubber hangers.

One thing to note: If you put on the Bullet Exhaust sticker (not the metal badge that goes on the exhaust), don't put it on any painted surface! Per Reshie and Shawn, it won't come off! Put it on a window or something.

yes funwagon, it will be on my car, along with the spool stage 3 with some other goodies. If you like the looks of it at the meet you can just pick one up though me.

Sweet, Can't wait for the meet. Looks like I won't be completely stock after all. Injen CAI should be here tomorrow and I am thinking of the spool springs in the next week or so and as soon as I buy a new heat gun and some solder I am going to get to work on the angel eyes. Then next steps will be exhaust and wheels. I will definately be hitting you up to get me some stuff from rishie.

Thanks Linux. I am not new to modding by any means but I just wanted to clarify on those points. BTW that system is just sick. the quality looks amazing. Oh yeah be careful if your out driving. Just heard from my office in Dallas that it is slow going out there and the roads are really bad in some areas.

Damn, now you guys are making me think twice about Spoolin or FM'ing my MP3

I hear you say this a lot :D. What's that Nike slogan again? Heh, I know, its not as easy as just doing it, because just doing it costs about $3-4k. I'm in the same boat. Me wants, but cannot afford just yet.

Hehe, yeah I can't afford it right this moment like most of the members on this board, but my dark cloud of financial troubles will be leaving fairly soon and I'll start building plus amount every month instead of going negative. So a turbo is actually an obtainable goal again. My debate was just keep it NA and buy bolt-ons because going turbo requires a lot of other things and I won't turbo unless some sort of engine management is there. Sean "wheelguru" took me for a ride in his car with bolt -ons on it and it was still fun, the main factor being the JIC Coilovers though.

Hey linux,

Your bullet badge fell off the muffler because of the excessive heat that is produced by the exhaust. When you want to remove a decal, sticker, or a badge, you always use a heatgun. Basically that is what your exhaust did for itself.

Anyways wassup my hommie.
I need to come and see your car!
I am off this wendsday if you feel like meeting up.

Well I'll talk to yall later.

What's a JIC exhaust system like that cost. Looks really nice! I like the Greddy one that's out also.

Yes it will! As a matter of fact, a few folks already have this on the MSP on this very forum!! (thumb)

Can some one tell me the advantage of going with a ST series exhuast with the titanium muffler instead of the stainless steel?

Correct me if I am wrong but, I think the only difference is the weight savings. The Ti is extremely light, close if not in the single digits (lbs.). And people like the braised tip...:D

There you have it! Let's not forget that "trick" burnt blue tip!(thumb)
