Yes ... overall, it doesn't cost that much to make the car street legal considering all the work and R&D they do/did.

I check that website all the time hehehe .... one day man ... i'll get an EVO 7 from evolutionimports.com and an R34 from skylinegtr.com .... all that is left to do is win the lottery =)

only import them left hand drive if possiable sence most cars are do both.. the cars that are imported are to be driven hard, track days, etc, most dont want right hand drive cause the, "JDM" i have a right hand drive isnt that cool..mail trucks have right hand drive and the only reason its cool now is because you know its a real JDM civic cause you cant it here..but he stays away from JDM idea, these cars you cant get here, so if you have it, its all that, and you can drive the thing without b**** shifting-like throwing left handed. lol i tried it on a nissan pulsar GTI-R he had that was like 380hp and right hand drive, no good, give me the left so i can drive the dam thing.. with that much power things happen fast, your sences are overtaken and you cant tell whats going on, things like the tires slipping, the car being offbalance, reading the road through the streering wheel.. youv got to be on your game to drive these kind of cars, i like to do it where i feel the most at home (the left side)...thats my bit on right handers ill have some video soon of these cars in action :)

Evolution Imports? BAH. why doen't your "friend" hop over to www.evolutionm.net and clear up their rep if they're a straight up business?

EI is generally regarded as a bunch of con artists by the EVO community, except for a couple hot heads... why don't they actually DO something about their locked up evos? why haven't they delivered a SINGLE EVO to any of their customers as agreed?

gee... because they CAN'T?

Please don't tell me that red one is the Tommy Makinin edition.... (Ya I prolly botched the name) If it is.... Enough said

hueman-- one what the f@#k have you ever done..ya thers been problems in the past but 74 cars have beed sold. you forget this isnt done every day, not like thers a plan out ther to follow. thers lots of grey areas on all that stuff, sometimes it works sometimes it dont, we dont know, thers know real answer in alot of cases, so you change when asked and sometimes it sucks, but it what you do to try and make it work. as things progress ther will be no hand ups, wher at that point now, thell get fixed and EVOs are on the streets in the US.. next time you bad mouth someone, learn to understand that it took three years to get this far and i help alot for all of them. i cant even begain to type all the s*** i went though alone to try to make this work..thers still grey areas that are being takin care of as they come up, and it does take time and money (where not rich) he had to pay a s*** load money to get this going and itll get ther, people arent happy with hang ups, i understand this, but YOU HAVE AN EVO IN THE US, and it will take some time before we can garentee no problems at all.. I dont know what people are saying but like i said, thers no real way to do this!! make it happen!! and he'll find ways to do so.. you cant forsee these problems (customs) mainly, theres so many import export laws, international shipping laws, etc,one day your told ya sure no problem, the next day your told that they(customs) want to see your shippments and section so&so has a problem, to do this and they check things and go OK nothing wrong, so where like WTF!! two months later something else.. its an import, what can you do, just deal with it,and make it work...

WTF have I ever done? what's that have to do with what they've done? nothing. it's a fallacy. it has absolutely NO bearing on the issue at hand. they're such straight up guys that want to get the evos to the people? then why haven't there been any official responses to these accusations? hmm? no one has ever received an evo 7 from EI imports, DESPITE the ones ALREADY PAID FOR. none have been delivered, and if you follow the company origins as outlined by Senor Info on EVOM.NET, then there are some DEFINATE shady business tactics that prevent the company from being held legally responsible if and when they cannot deliver the evos. people have been waiting years for their cars, and continue to do so. will the evo somehow magically be deemed street legal? HIGHLY FARKING DOUBTFUL. why'd they start advertising that they could deliver, when they COULDN'T? there is no substantial evidence as of yet that they have even come close to delivering. why in the HELL would anyone with a brain think these guys are straight up and that they're trustworthy with our money? NONE.

you sound like a plant trying from EI trying to cash in on the protege community.. since there're a lot of evo fans on this site. and learn how to spell. it's aggravating trying to guess every other word in your post.

after reading this response i would NEVER do any business with you or anyone that your associated with, nor would i ever recommend you to anyone i know. youve painted a pretty clear picture. good day

you know, im not sure whats hes doing, ther are evos on the road now, two here at home , no problems!!!i mean responding to all the garbage and accusation, cum on... i know this, You spend like 6 million to do it straight up with DOT and the works, oh and insurance well about a million a year..you cant sell that many evos so we have to do it like a grey,No one has done it for a reason, spend the money or get it through the back door, its hard to do that.. its somthing he wanted to for himself, so now the kid owns his own company and its working, and ill be the first to say its hasnt been without problems..just be sure you got facts before get in someones s***...and crash on the protege community????WTF is that..its a fun pic..iv owned three proteges now and love everything about them.. im sorry if you have problems with EI, noting i can do, non the less the pics are fun , the cars are fun, and this summer ill be driving an evo around making badass home movies, and ill share it with this community if they like,BECAUSE ITS FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if not, then mazda all the way

Evolution import is a local shop in Orlando and I've never done business with them, but they are getting a bad rep all over the town and internet. I am Not saying not to do business with them. But if you do plan to buy a car with them...be aware. They do offer good prices for there services...its not badly prices at all. Except Im not sure why anyone would want to buy a JDM spec STi. Here is what a local guys said about this place when I mentioned a local shop imported JDM Integra Type Rs.

err.. check em out on evolution.net. while they're not really fraudulent, they have a lot to learn about good business practices. They delivered Evo 7's to customers that hadn't been approved for use on US roads... they also had some LHD Euro Evo's which were sold as JDM Evo's. I also spoke to their guy on the phone... he was NOT nice at all. They need to learn some customer service skills as well.

Note: This guys didnt know that they offered LHD conversion.

DAM, that sucks, ill tell him he need to get his s*** together... guys, hes a good friend of mine, i dont work for him, i went out and bought new P5- not and evo, might say somthing in its self there..I hate to here hes doing bad business on the customer service side, thers no reason for that!! the cars had done some DOT and he was told that he could sell them, as the stuff would go through.. turns out it didnt go through as planed and more money was need to perform the other DOT services, and till that was competed the cars are to be taked of this temp list (no longer street legal)....as anyone would tell you this is bad..so out of the 74 cars sold only 11 remain street legal as of today.. the other cars have competed the DOT requerments and are awaiting to get the final appoval from DOT...here a link to check DOT on the updates for the cars and ther appoval..go to (no www) dms.dot.gov and then go to search and type in this no. 15470-for evo8 and then 16031 for evo7.. the site goes down alot for updates, so if its down, check it later.. that will take care of the cars and problems once and for all, his customer service better get better, it would suck to have gone this far and lose it all because no one wants to deal with you..i wouldnt want to deal with an ass..
