I said Israel was guilty of many oppressive and brutal practices upon the people in the occupied territories. During the 18 years it occupied Lebanon and the 40+ years Israel has occupied the Palestinain people's lands, Israel has done NOTHING but destroy and lay waste to the infrastructure there. Regular invasions, bombings, missile targeting, baseless arrests, incarceration of men women & children without charges, torture, and other human rights violations have been rampant. The only reason Israeli prime ministers have not been charged with war crimes is because the U.S. makes every effort to block such actions. Israel has, in the last 3 days, blasted Palestine into the dark ages. Every public utility has been completely obliterated. 75% of Palestinians will be without electricity for AT LEAST 1 YEAR and without running water for AT LEAST 6-8 MONTHS.

Israel has not "given back" any of the lands it seized during any wars, contrary to the falsities girth has set forth in his posts. Even as I type this, Israel is hinting strongly at invading and occupying Lebanon again on a full scale. Every country in the world except the U.S. has blasted Israel's enormously disproportionate military strikes as wrong and called on them to stop immediately.
Go get an education, junior.

While that's 'technically' correct, it is misleading because MOST of the Jewish migration occurred after WWI. That's the whole reason the British divided up the old Ottoman Empire into Palestine and then a few years later divided Palestine up into 25% Jewish land and 75% Arab land (in land mass, not population - (for "Matrix" since he doesn't seem to comprehend that)).TStar said:

that was sort of correct. Germany didn't gain anything after WWII however it was divided into four zones of occupation.Originally it was divided amongst the soviets, americans british and french. later the french,american,british sections joined together.Matrix said:
