Is anyone going to the 24hr of Daytona?

I'm going to the 24hr of Daytona with my recently purchased Mazdaspeed 6. Driving all the way from Chicago to Florida and back... road trip. I was wondering if anyone is planning on going. It would be cool to see some other Mazdas there.

Have been wanting to go and looked into it a few weeks ago but can't find anyone to cover for me at work. It's too bad because it would've been fun to caravan down to Florida, one VRM Speed6 after another.

I'll be going for the 3rd time straight this year . Though, driving the mazda (aka the race car) down prolly ain't gonna happen . Look for a silver S2000 parked near a silver Jetta and you'll probably have found our camp site

I'll make sure to look for you guys there. It's my first time to Daytona, and I'm so excited to go. aMaff, did you get the Malestones Club tickets with the parade laps?
A few months back, I was very close to buying an s2k, as a track toy. But I wouldn't be driving it as much as I do with my daily-driver speed6. I'll probably end up selling my Porsche 944 turbo and buying an s2k.
mpk, that sucks you can't get someone to cover you at work. Just imagine two red speed6's caravanin' down the highway, all the way to Florida... Awesome.
