Is that not the same company that makes the Napster portable player? I read that somewhere.. I think though the napster version was 299.. whereas these are going for 325? something like that .

Looks cool as hell!
Hey Jared! What is happening man? Lol..
I am pretty happy with my Dell jukebox.. simple, and long battery.. but damn that Iriver looks cool!

I have the iHP-120. It's excellent! Plus; iRiver's customer support is second to none. Great company!

I have 1,760 songs loaded, and still haven't used half of the drive. I love it! (rockon)

I am searching for a MP3 Player for my car also:

It's between this player:
http://eng.cowon.com/product/iAUDIOM3/about.html

Or a Ipod Mini

The Cowon player is listed as CNet's best rated player.

Personally, I have a 40GB iPod and I love it. It's very compact and easy to use and not only does it hold an unbelievable amount of music, but it also serves excellently as a removable storage device for my computer. Anything I want to take with me, I throw it into the iPod and just go. I currently have 150 albums on it, plus pictures, plus software, plus videos, PLUS data files and I STILL have 30.6GB left! Based upon my personal experience, I'd go with the Mini iPod. The 3rd gen. unit I have is very compact and fits beautifully into my car, so I can only assume that the Mini will be even more so. Trust me, once you get used to the controls, you'll love it...

How much did that cost if you don't mind me asking?

Well, when I got it last Christmas, it cost $499 for just the iPod alone. That didn't include all of the accessories I got for it. Nowadays, the 40GB iPod sells for $399. Grant you, it's very expensive, but it's the top of the line and I'm very happy with it; the others I tried (including iRiver) just plain sucked. And my iPod was one of the models made AFTER the entire battery fiasco, so I've never had a problem with it.

seems like the issue on this forum is over since the dude got the iriver, but ive found the best way to find out about electronics is to go read the customer reviews at places like amazon. granted you will have more people that get angry about defects and post those then you will people that are so happy they just have to tell someone how much the player rocks, but i see it as a good way to learn about the thing's weak points so that you can do a real compare with other players. Then again, nothing beats finding a friend who has one and stealing it to see if you like how it plays, feels, and sounds, then if you do, you'll already have one!
