Ion fmic

I have a custom kit I made (see how-to link earlier in thread) using a vibrant core, and CX racing piping. the whole thing cost me a little over $225, and maybe 10 hours of work.. it could be done in much less if I mounted the core differently (I had to fish the bolts into the crash bar because I didn't want to drill all the way through both sides) actual pipe routing only took me maybe 5 hrs, with nearly only hand tools.

granted, I scored the core locally for cheap, and it is smaller than most on here like using, but at such low boost on such a small turbo, I don't see the point in a huge core, and I value keeping my engine cool, not just the intake charge, so leaving that air for the radiator doesn't bother me.

ebay brand is fine really... but if you spend the money for a better core, I don't see you being sorry you did.. if you can land a deal on a used one thats your best bet IMO. mine happened to come off of a local P5 that was boosted when he parted out.

i think ion is a really nice kit, you get to keep the support beam, and the pipes are still fairly short.
