Interior numbered plaque?

I searched and was unable to locate any threads which directly addressed this (one thread was similar, but didn't have any significant replies), so I thought I'd create a new one.

Being a former Integra Type R owner, I'm familiar with limited edition, numbered vehicles. Like many limited editions, each ITR included a plaque denoting its particular production number which was attached to the center console armrest. To the best of my knowledge (still don't own an MSP yet), the MSP does not feature such a plaque. Since everyone here seems to know their vehicle's production number, I'm wondering if any members had ever considered having a standardized number plaque created in some sort of "group buy" setup.

I personally think it would be a popular piece, and probably wouldn't be terribly expensive as long as the design was kept simple. If anyone else would be interested in seeing this brought to fruition, please feel free to post your ideas here. Design concepts and suggestions as to companies that could produce these pieces would be great. I may play around this weekend and try to come up with a few designs as well, and since I'm not yet an owner, some suggestions as to where in the interior would be best to mount such a plaque would also be great.

Well, thanks for looking everyone, and I hope this doesn't come across as a stupid "newbie" idea. (uhm)

Oh, I should also note that I'm not planning on personally selling these or attempting to make any profit from this idea, I just think it would be a neat piece to see produced somehow.

Here is a photo I borrowed of the plaque from a JDM Integra Type R, which is a bit different than the one found on US cars, but you can still get the overall idea. On the US cars, the plaque obviously read "ACURA" rather than "HONDA" and the vehicle's production number was engraved in the blank space to the right:

I'm so down for this, what an awesome idea. I'll have some people work on this and get some ideas... I love this idea. I think it should be put somewhere in the middle near the shifter... just an idea.

how many MSP's were made any way?

I would love to get one.I think I will see what I can do for us.
there is a shop downtown from me that may do this.

Close, but not quite... 2750 TOTAL 2003.5's (SS, TG, BY, LB) + 2000 2003's (BM, SO) = 4750

that sounds more right, give or take a couple stragglers...

i would be down for this, i'll have to go look around the interior of the car and see if anything jumps out as a good mounting place... actually, i was just thinking the other day what i might be able to replace the ashtray with (i am not a smoker), that would be a cool place to put it IMO...

eh, thats not quite as cool, a plaque is a little more prestigious (sp), if i were going for something like that i'd just get some vinyl made and put it on the sides of my spoiler...

im sure SOMEONE can produce this, it cant be THAT hard....then again i dont have the tools or materials so....but yes, someone do this, it will pay off!!

it would be cool if each plaque had the msp production number of it

like the ferari 575 has it and it says "242 out of 520", i thought that was awsome
