Has anyone put there intercooler here? Im dont want to loose the fogs, loose the wiper washer bottle.

Can't say I've ever seen it, but if you have removed the A/C completely then I don't see why not try?! Except I'm not sure if I see how that's any different than just putting it below the crash bar?

I have a 7" tall core and I dont want to do any "Major" cutting. I already have the hole saw to do what I need to. lol

My core is 6" and exactly fills the space between the the crash bar and touches the bottom of the lip. If you trim the back end center of the lip (you'll see where) the FMIC will only hang down an inch. Plus with the inlet/outlets that low you can easily slide past / under the fogs and you only have remove the washer bottle to cut the hole in the wall behind it to run your pipe. If you check my old posts I took some pics of that. I wish I had gone with an off center inlets myself would have saved some frustrations

Thanks I'll search.

Hey zuku, looking at your pictures, ill be going a different way then the way that you did it. Im trying to do a Perrin/ turbolife while still retaining the crash bar. I already fit the intercooler there with no problems. I still have to either delete the hood latch brace or design a new one. Ill be taking more pics later today. The only thing I think ill have a problem with is getting the SC outlet to match up the the hot side of the IC. IM going to have to make some sort of 2 short radius 90*s welded together. Or something like that.

I dont know what my problem is but I like doing things that normal people dont do...haha.

ive never seen anyone whos done what youd like to do - but i would be careful to put part of the intercooler behind something where it wont get much air flow.

I think im going to have to turn it upside down from the way that I have it. I may have to shorten the Powersteering line or move it out of the way. or something.

Other than that im off tomorrow so ill be working on that.

I've been considering running the hot pipe similar to the way your saying as well. (BTW I thinkink flipping the cooler is the way to go.) On my car The 2 hard lines shown below have some freedom to move around a bit enough room in fact to move them up enough to run my piping under them after I cut out a hole in that sheet metal!

yea looks like I'm going to have to do that.

Blazin. I wouldn't be able to use your pipes because of the way I'm piping it. The outlet of the supercharger should be about 6" from where the 90 to the hot side of the intercooler would be.

The cold side needs to fit my bov and the MAF because I have to run a blow through setup.

doesnt sound like a good idea... people may have done it, i dunno.
and however you decide to mount it, just let it get as close to the bumper as possible. you dont want to cover more than you have to if theres no reason.

o i thought you were turbo ook gl with placement looks like it will work.. bumper gets its air from the bottom opening anyway..

Thanks!

Yea Its going to be another thing to deal with (deleting the PS line) So im going to try my best to move it somewhere..lol

Turns out that I dont have the hole saw. Might use the sawzall. Well see. Im tired. been up all night planning. haha.
