Intake Questions

I've heard some people having problems with the injen cold air intake, I've heard no one complain about the AEM short ram intake. I've also heard good things about Big Ben's CAI's. So help me out what is the best for performance and the money????????

first off, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net. There is a BIG fridge in the corner with just about anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. :{D

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables....and take it easy.

as far as the performance gains with an intake...well from what WE have all seen...you will get just about the same no matter what brand you use.

as far as people having trouble with the Injen....the ONLY people that I have heard of having trouble of ANY kind are those with automatics trannies and 1.6L motors.....and some have had a rub problem with the master cylinder. other than that....they are great....look great, sound great, FIT great

Intake

One thing, Nuke hit all the high points as far as hp gains but u said bang for ur buck and Big-Ben's intake is only like $145-$!80 depending on what u want it to look like and what have u. That is a hell of alot cheeper than the AEM and Injen. And with Big-Ben's intake it was disigned to fit by the master cylinder and therefore his intake is pretty much perfect as far as all the bang for ur buck goes.
