Intake manifold for protege?

true but where the hell are you fitting that? also it costs alot more to forge. i wouldn't boost like that on a non-forged engine...but thats just me. ill be back later going to continue on my swap for a little while.

you dont need to forge an engine as strong as the klze. 350 hp is just a starting point. you can run 350 easy on stock internals without having a problem

the KL really isnt that right of a fit with the exception of the rear bank header on the steering rack, I can run both fans on the mx-6 radiator(that is thicker than the protege one) I have plenty of clearance on the firewall, and Thepope has shown how you can turbo it. I will be following suit with Phase 2 of my swap.

How is it not a tight fit, the front edge of the valve cover certainly sits farther forward, but not much if at all more than the front of the cat on the 1.6/1.8/2.0 the intake manifold sits further forward than the 1.8/2.0 in regards to the firewall. Side to side its the same and that is shown because protege mounts are used here. Also it sits just as low if not a tiny bit lower than the 1.8/2.0 and this is judged by the distance from top of the intake manifold to the bottom of the strut bar.
