Intake Mani gasket to keep it cold?

wait, how do these things give you more hp? how do they work?

Cooler intake charge=more hp. I really don't think the numbers are that high but a little.

I had these on my ES before I sold it and they made a big difference. Much better throttle response on hot days and much more "get up and go" off the line. Installation was pretty straightforward, just tedious.

i read somewhere on that site that you dont use the orignal gasket at all....lemme go find it

here ya go..taken from the "tech" section of the outlaw engineering site..

Better gas mileage
Replaces stock gaskets
Reusable over and over

You don't have to use any gaskets. I just used a good Permatex sealant on both mating surfaces.

However, if for some reason you want to use gaskets instead, you will need 2 of them....one for each side of the spacer.

durr(silly) i know that, lol, i just can't imagine how it would give some hp? does it keep heat from transfering from the head to the manifold? is it some kinda insulation? or what?

exactly ;)

If yall get the group buy going, I'm definitely down....

Hopefully I'll have some other stuff paid off before then..

Time to talk to the Probetalk.com, and the MX-6.com guys as well....

I just receive that but i got some problem, the instruction said to remove the fuel relay to release the pressure, but where is the fuel relay??? any anyone who had installed it, anything I should be aware of???

The fuel relay is in the relay box in the engine compartment. It says 'Fuse Box', on the cover, and if you look in the inner compartment, there's one that should say 'Fuel', or 'Fuel Pump', or somesuch.

thankx
but I can see so many wires and plugs need to remove to get the thing off, can anyone provide me with some advice on installation thank you

follow your instincts, you dont have to remove the relay, but you can remove the gas cap just in case.
