its pretty straight forward, remove both hoses. remove fans. 4 screws hold the radiator in place

easy as pie

be careful when pulling the radiator up. the fins are delicate and can be easily broken.

remove the fans while the rad is on the car.

thats all i can think of

I need to do this on my 2002 prot5 also... is there a walkthrough online somewhere? Maybe a service manual?

I'm still new to the forum so plese forgive me if this is total n00b stuff. :/
(at least I'm trying to utilize the search funtion and not just posting a new thread, right?)

kudos for that!

1. drain coolant, you will find a knob at the bottom of the radiator.
2. remove top hose, not completely just the radiator side.
3. remove coolant bottle hose. the one next to the radiator cap
4. remove fans. remove the wiring clip. 2 10mm screws on top of each fan hold it in place. remove bolts and pull up.
5. remove bottom radiator hose. you will need to get under the car. careful, there may be coolant inside
6. 4 10mm screws hold the radiator in place. two on each side. top side near the headlights.
7. remove radiator.

P.S. if you have the stock intake, that will need to be removed prior to step one

p.m. me if you need any help

well at long last I finally replace the radiator today and your instructions were spot on

The only thing I'm wondering about now is flushing it out. There were instructions that came with the radiator that said you have to do a flush of the system to remain in warranty.

Is that actually necessary or can I just refill it with new fluid/water?
