Installing a MSP rear sway bar

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to know if there is anything I should be aware of when installing a MSP Racing beat rear sway bar on my P5. Will I run into any problems when doing this mod? Is there anything I should change on my car other then the end links?

If anybody has installed this on their P5 & had problems, please let me know

Thanks folks,

I believe there's a how-to for this mod...

The only thing i can think about is that the brackets on the stock struts are kinda weak to hold such a think sway bar...

Do a reshearch, there's plenty of info on this issue!

If your running stock struts, you might break the endlink connection on the struts over time. Aftermarket tokico struts reinforce the endlink connector for this reason.

Yup yup. Plenty of people have snapped the tabs clean off.

You're going to want to upgrade to a set of Tokico HPs.

Or even better a set of Tokico Illuminas, like what I have. (rofl2)

Well, unless you're a hardcore autocrosser, these thing are a waste of money.

Of course, if you DO autocross, they're money.

you didnt mention if youre buying the bar used or new but if its used then you will
need the lower subframe too to hold the bar.

no you don't. that's one way to go, but you can also buy the AWR brackets w/ the 19mm bushings, and hog them out a little to fit the 20mm bar. it's well-described in the "how-to" thread on this install.

or you could do what i did and just re-use the stock ES/P5 brackets and bushings.

damn the SP5000s suck in the snow. wow.

Well if you count ebrake sliding all over the streets, thats the off season for me.

And yes, the sp5000s really do suck. My speedo was so erratic, goin from 20mph to 70mph in a second, then back to 0 in half a sec. My friend was like, "Damn Oliver what u do to this car? That's some crazy acceleration and braking man"
