were there already bulds where those reflectors are or you put some in there
Wow, looks awesome! Do the front and rears blink clear now when the signals are on? I know that's a stupid question, but I don't know anything about clearing out headlights or taillights. Also why not ditch the orange reflector in the headlights?
Those wheels look excellent. After seen RX8 on these cars along with everything else on the aftermarket, I like the RX8 best. Did they use essentially two part automotive paint, base coat clear coat? OH yeah - gotta block out your plate numbers !
that looks good. nice subtle upgrades.
Your car = finished
The OEM reflectors are just red. The smoked reflectors with reflect white at night if I didn't wire the LEDs to the tail lights. Hope that answers your question.
No, they blink amber still - it's a valid question. Reason I haven't ditched the orange in the headlights is because you have to bake them and open it up. I've done a few times and didn't feel like doing it again. Maybe one day![]()
nope, if there are no lights behind the smoked reflectors why are they lit up red?
I believe they sanded first, primered it, then used two coats of paint and then the matte clear coat process.
I got too lazy and didn't blur out the license plate numbers. I see some people blur it out and some don't. Is it just a safety thing - to not let give people additional information about yoruself? I figure any random person can take my license plate number when my car is parked outside, too. But maybe more people see it online?
Thanks. Trying to keep it clean and simple.
Thought you would've berated me since I had to make the tough cal on repainting the Shinkas. Just couldn't live with those stains any longer.
Personal preference I believe, but mostly if you have mods in your sig and want to keep your warranty. Just in case big brother Mazda is watching.
sweet, thanksMy bad for the bad explanation. The smoked reflectors have LEDs behind them. I tapped them into the tail lights. You could also wire them up either to the blinkers or brake lights.
