I thought it might be useful for SpicyMSP to have a list of people that are commited to purchasing an intake before she gets the numbers on the group buy. I have the check ready to go, just need the numbers to fill it in. We may be able to get a cheaper price if we already have 20 or so people that WILL buy it, instead of having to wait until they release the price, then wait until people decide and send in the money.

Just a thought,

Britt

I'm extremely interested but I need at least a relatively accurate ballpark price before I can commit to anything. I imagine quite a few people feel the same way I do.

Hey Ive got an important question.....are they only going to off the coldair intake or will they also offer their short ram intake with the option of the adapter later on? Thanks

Me too! I want one. I just need an approximate price, and of course, an answer on accessibility to the cone (or is it a cone filter they are using?) . Looking at the pictures, I cannot tell how it was done.

I'm interested as well....Looks like i'm going to the money that i had planned for my asthetic mod for this then.

Ballpark figure as well.
I've never bought anything over the internet before...So, i'll need a guide as to how to send money or whatever it is....

I'm in, call me crazy, but I don't even really care about the
price, I just want it.....
Plus I don't think injen is going to over price this thing....
Or maybe they will, who knows..... They must know this is
a must have for most poeple & knowing that they have a
web site full of enthusiast should get us a decent price, I
hope!!!!

ok ok geeze. As I have said before, they arent even done with the prototype intake, so a ballpark estimate is weeks away. I promise as soon as I know any info, I will post it.

Much appreciated! Thanks Steph. I was just out on Injen's site, and was looking around at some of the other intakes, it looks like it might be near $200 - give or take. And, it appears that they make their own filters, so I don't know if the K&N will fit. I hope so, since I just ordered the K&N RU-3580 Cone.

I'm in, too. Those hp and torque gains are just too good to pass up. And have Injen throw in some stickers, too!

And a personal thank you to Steph and Braden for letting Injen work on their car. They won't be sorry!

i plan on rally crossing my car so do you think they'd make an intake snorkle type of thing for me? you know, kind of like the older hummers had on them that came out near the roof of the car so no water would get sucked in. i'm hoping to not let any water in when i'm crossing streams and jumping ponds. if you could ask injen about this that would be great. thanks.

oh I dont think rally crosssing your car is a good idea, especially with the intake. Not to mention your special spicy paint. I recently had a encounter in the mud at the track this weekend , and wow it sucked. I was cleaning my MSP off for 2 days now, and there is still mud everywhere under the car. I seriously dont reccomend that, unless you want to raise your msp 5 inches.

Oooops - I didnt' notice this thread jumped into the MSP group - If its the same for MP5, I'm interested, but if not - duh ;-)
