Infotainment/nag screen brightness

I have a question about how to change the brightness of the Nav/infotainment screen on our 2015 CX5. My wife has complained to me that while driving at night the screen is so bright that it's very distracting. Is there a way to make adjustments while driving? Also is it possible to change the stock background picture as well?
I hope I posted this in the proper forum, and if not can a Mod move it to the correct location. Thanks in advance for your help.

YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a little spin knob - which doubles as the TRIP RESET when pushed. When you spin that....it dims the whole dash including the infotainment. If you turn it ONE notch down from full bright...it AUTO dims when the headlights turn on for the night time.

:)

Hope this helps.

Now if I can turn the NEXT STREET readout off when I am not using the Navigation....I'll be happy. I hate seeing that while listing to music.

Oh...the knob/button I am speaking of is on the right hand side of the gauges over up above the fuel gauge.

Thank you very much. This is very helpful. The screen brightness wasn't really bothering me, but when I set the knob to one notch down, the ambiance becomes a lot better :).
