This weekend, I replaced the cracked screen on my 2016 CX-9. After I reinstalled it, the screen is now black/blank. But the radio still works. I have no idea what happened. swapping the spider-cracked screen was a breeze. I've searched youtube and this sire and tried a few of their 'reset instructions'
Option 1:
Hold the back button, Nav Button, and Power button for about 10 seconds
Option 2:
Press the volume button. Then press and hold favorite button and the music button.
Neither option worked.
Like I mentioned, the radio still works, and my favorites is still in the memory. But the screen is black/blank.
Ive tried changing the digitizer back to the old one and still nothing. Ive tried finding the fuse thinking maybe I blew it but I cant find it or any blown fuse at all. Do I need a whole new unit? Should I try disconnecting the battery to hard reset it? Any help/direction would be helpful
