Infotainment issue after screen replaced

Well had the 2018 CX-5 screen replaced now I can't make or accept called and if someone calls me which I can't answer when I turn car off and then back on it tells me answer call and will not respond to the answer button on steering wheel or touch screen.

Could this be a firmware issue now and will they charge me? I feel if it is a upgraded screen they should do the firmware free. why wasn't this a recall, already forked over almost 600.00 for a fix that isn't working.
 
Those sound like excellent points to make with whomever you paid $600 for a fix that didn't work.

Please update us with what they come up as a solution for you.
