In general, how much do you pay for labor installation?

Well I haven't really taken any car to any shop or dealership as the P5 is really my first true car, but was wondering what some estimated quotes are. Reason being is my brother is a mechanic at Mercedes Benz and he'll do the work for me, but I'd like to know an estimation of labor so I can cut a deal for these following things :).

Replacing brake pads and rotors
Switching out pulleys
Putting in new springs (lowering)
Installing exhaust/headers/CAI
Putting on new wheels

Sorry if it seems too much, but I have no clue on how much money this would run lol. Thanks!

In my book thats a 32 pack and a BBQ
(Good luck)

For all that... its gonna be a lot. Way more than its worth to have them installed, can't just do it yourself? The BBQ idea sounds good lol, Crazy D and I could help ya get that stuff on in a few hours, depending on how fast that 32 pack disappears lol.

In general I pay nothing for installation because I do it myself. I'm sure there's more than a few of the GA crew that would be willing to help ya out on that at some meets or at, like was said, a bar-b-q & beer bash.

A BBQ would be nice I'm sure lol. Wish I could do this stuff on my own, but still in the learning process for most of this stuff.(bang) Appreciate the responses so far.

You could def. do that with a little help. I just installed my first set of pads and rotors on any car I have owned back in April with some help from the NEPOC crew. And just last weekend I had my first experience working with spring compressors. Search the how-to section and I would also suggest you post in the GA section. I am sure the GACC guys and gals would be willing to help you learn!

(drinks) and BBQ !!! BBQ !!! BBQ !!!

There has to be a GA crew around here....

Hell yea dude! dezine, jump on the Georgia forum and introduce yourself man. When Crazy says a case and a BBQ he's not kidding. I'm actually moving down to L-ville next month from Duluth. We've got a great group of guys. Like you, when I started off, I couldn't even do my brakes, now I can do pretty much any of the 'standard' mods :). You just have to be willing to learn, watch once, and do it a whole bunch afterwards ;).

We get together pretty much once every week or so, so come introduce yourself dude :)

Hey!! Are you new to the GA section? Post here!

I did my own pads and rotors last week. I would have never thought of doing that s*** myself even a year ago! just search the how to's and ask around if you have any questions. It's really not that difficult when you do a little research.
