Import Wars

[Concept MSP]

The Import Wars events are kicking off at Great Lakes Dragaway, in Union Grove WI on 4/27/2003. They will be held monthly from April through October. Each of the events consists of races and a car show. Our car club, Concept R, organizes and judges the shows. Check out www.greatlakesdragaway.com for the schedule and more information. It is just on the 27th, from 9:00 - 5:00. The show and races are just on Sundays, and the schedule is posted on the GLD website. I am going to try to get up there to GB for the show on June 28th, but we have a show at Great Lakes on the 29th. Some people were handing out flyers for it at Import Rev in Chicago on Saturday.

Next Import Wars at GLD is 5/18/2003. Gates open at 9:00 AM.

What time do people usually start showing up? I should be able to make it down but there's no way I'm getting up early to be a spectator

The show cars and race cars usually arrive between 9:00 and 11:00. Most spectators start rolling in at about 11:00 or 12:00.

so where is this show up in gb...i live in gb...and milwaukee...there is also going to be a drag racing this weekend at WIR...its like 10-1...but tell me where this show in gb is...i might show up... (smoke)
