Im looking for a lower look...

i have an 08 ms3. ive been looking around and wanting to make my car have a lower stance. only thing it i live in NJ and a part that i cant afford being slammed to low. I'm looking for suggestions on coil overs or a front-lip or something like that, that can give me the lowered look im looking for but still be manageable to drive with, without worrying. Also if you have any pictures to show what the suggested modifications look like thatd be greatly appreciated.
