Wow... I met about 40 of them at a meet, and they all were cool...

Meeting IRL is a lot different then watching someone's blather on a message board.
Besides that, chances are that the 40 of them you met were from the same geographical area and more than a few of them were already acquainted. M3f has almost 12,000 members from all over the world. Obviously they can't all be dicks but there are enough of them over there (unmoderated for the most part) that it's not worth my time to sort through all the crap.

yea thats true.. i met some guys from around the same location as me and there cool as hell.. but when u go into the different threads and u get people in there from all over.. they can be assholes.. i just experienced alot of that last week..
