haha, they sure did. I got the headlights too, just havent put them on yet because I am trying to decide whether or not to get dde's (halos)

Alright, I have had my fog protection on forever, but yesterday I decided against the halos, so me and a friend threw on my headlight protection as well. Just thought I would post a few pictures in here. And these ones dont involve me and a skirt......

I didnt think it would make a difference in projection, but the drivers side has the film on and passenger doesnt

DOOO EET! ;) THey are a cheap "mod" and they only cost $33 painted and shipped. They have Mazda colors too. :)
Hey Gray!! How are you able to do that in Texas? We are a two plate state! I got pulled over for tint that is too dark, and I didn't have anything to do with installing it and you are going to run around w/o a front plate?

Most cops won't pull you over for not having a front plate. Plus, it's just a fix it ticket. A lot of people ride around without a front plate in TX. I can always mount the plate somewhere else if do get pulled over and have to show proof to a judge or whoever that I put it back on. I've never seen or heard anyone get pulled over for too dark of tint. You must have some really bored cops around your area.

Most may not, but it only takes one. A "fix-it" ticket, Gracie? You mean if the cop wishes to be leniet as with my tint situati0n. They do have that option but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Not in the greater Austin area... or at the very least they have it visible in their windshields.

Neither had I until I told my story to a few other people. Most had said that they too had been pulled over for it, or knew a friend or relative that had.
I was pulled over in Texarkana last November (2005) by two DPS officers. At the time I had so much stuff in the back that it would've mattered if I had tint or not because I couldn't use the rear windows anyway. They still pulled me over and tested my tint. I had clear covers over my licence plates at the time too, though I can't blame my dealer for that one. The cops let me off with a written warning on both counts, but could've just as easily written me a ticket for several hundred dollars.

Well...they normally won't in Dallas unless you are doing something else wrong. And yes, front plate is either them telling you to put it back on without a ticket or giving you a fix it ticket. Just about every car I have owned, I have had no front plate. It has never been an issue.

Oh, and the clear covers has been a law for a little while now. It's a big no-no. It can make it where the cop can't see your numbers. People actually buy ones that you can't see them str8 on or from the side. Not good.

This thread is so funny.

I agree that rockblocker products are awesome. I have blue headlights, foglights and smoked tails.
