Silver 2003.5 MSP
Nice! I picked up my Titanium MSP yesterday, and I'm having a blast.

I was supposed to get a silver one from John Finger Mazda in Greenville, SC but the sales manager turned out to not be an honerable man so I took my business to Knoxville Mazda and had a great car-buying experience. A big thumbs up to Nathan at KM for the help :)

How long did most of you break in your cars when you got them? I was planning on 1K, but I'm open to suggestions.

Awesome car!

The manual states 650 i think, I went to like 800~900, but if you wanna go to 1k, that's fine too. I'm sure if Mazda says 650 is good then go with that, but you may not wanna rag on it all the time after 1k, and get an oil change around 2~2.5k.

Congrats and welcome!

I was a grandma on mine. I babied it (under 3500, never more than half throttle, waited for engine to reach operating temp before driving it, waiting 2min for cool-down) for 1st 1500mi. Oil change at 1500, into boost every now and then and some full throttle runs for next 1500. Oil change at 3000mi. Then it was all fun from there.

She also gets washed and waxed every Sunday as I'm listening to the NASCAR or NHRA races on the radio. Anybody see the wreck with Elliot Sadler???

Congrats on the car. You'll love it

I was sitting around this afternoon watching the race, that Sadler wreck was something else. 1.5 flips in the air the first time, landed on the roof, slid back on the track and then rolled 4.5 more times and stopped right side up on the grass - crazy stuff! He was airlifted to the hospital but they checked him out and released him.

I saw it, that was insane. After that wreck and he was ok that shows the safety they put into the cars. 6 fplips at 190 mph and he was still moving and able to take off the steering wheel as soon as the car stopped.
