initial33! Get this 156D on. if you don't it leaves the excuse open that you don't have the "updated" bushing to your dealer. If they have already put them on once, and realize they will fail again, then try the teflon tape thing to hold you over for a while.

O i already have had the 156D bushings three times...... its now clunking again.... and i mentioned to my dealer about the teflon tape idea alrady but they said they wont do it because they dont want to "mod" Mazda's parts in any way.. they said they dont want to take repsosibility...

oh, that's right, your the one that has "that" dealer. I'd have them killed for being so stupid. It's called.

Ummmm we make money off of replacing your bushings, and if we tape them, then we won't

Jerks. Call MCI....better yet, PM me which dealer your going to, and the next time I'm talking to MCI, I'll tell them.

Get this, i'm in the dealership yesterday to check out the mazdaspeed and i step by the service counter.....I have a chat with the service manager and he says that they master tech is gonna start to refuse to change the bushings because they've changed them so often....i''m like, what the f__k? He says that they're trying to come up with a solution using three test vehicles (non MP3's mind you), and are not gonna change the bushings until they're done....when my car starts clunking hardcore again, i'm taking it back to them....if they refuse to replace them, then i'm changing dealerships and contacting mazda canada and tattaling on them:p

My dealer has been quite good to me.... so i dont really want to b**** on them.... the only reason they said they wont do it is because there is no TSB from MC to do it thsi way... so they dont want to tinker it in any ways....

Funny you should mention that. This is the 2nd time I've heard something about bushings and the normal protege's. While the district manager never said anything to me about it, my dealer did say he heard something about Mazda of Canada looking into EVERY protege and their bushings. I can't confirm it though.
