If you could do it over again...

I have a 2007 black mica. If I were to do it over, I'd go with an 08.5 because I really wanted a dark gray car for the past 4 years. And black has been more of a pain in the ass than I expected it to be. Not too thrilled with the new interior trim, but I'd trade it to someone with an 07 or get used to it, lol. The other is that I'm somewhat concerned about the turbo's leaky seals which apparently aren't an issue with the 08s. No problems yet, knock on wood.

Where do you read that leaking turbo seals are not an issue on the 08's? For that matter, I read the forums pretty thoroughly and have only seen 2 or 3 references to leaking turbo seals on 2007's as well. Another bull crap rumor.(dance)

I would have gone with the white instead of my CBM. Tinted windows with dark-ish wheels on a white car looks slick. This body style is great

Yeah white with black wheels and a dark tint would be pretty wicked

I know they are few and far between, and I don't recall seeing any issues with leaks on an 08, not to say there aren't any but I havent seen them

I think it's probably an issue with break-in or abuse rather than a true defect, but its still my baby and I still worry about her, you know?

I have a 2008 Cosmic Blue and I am very happy with my choice. I'm glad I waited and didn't get a 2007 that might have been prone to the engine mount failure recall and I'm also glad that I got a Cosmic Blue before they were discontinued with the 2008.5 models. The new colors and interior trim do not impress me.

I'm with most... would not have waited for new models and would do it again....

I voted keep current year model. However, I would have got white if it was available in 07.

At first, i hated the CBM and wanted it in white or grey. Then the color grew on me and I bought one in CBM. Then I find out that I could have held out only a bit longer for white or grey haha. Even still, I'd keep my model the way it is. I really like the color now, it stands out more to me. Also not big on the change to the interior.
