If you could do it over again...

Alright, since there is a "new" MS3 model with new colors and different interior. After everyone has probably seen the pictures, I was wondering, if you could buy it over again, what year would you go for?

Please explain why in a post if you want!

yep, no hesitation, this is the car I wanted and Im glad its mine, I would absolutely buy it again. Now had the new 1 series been out in the summer of 06, well that may have been a different story...

I would have bought a 2008.5, however, it still would be in black. The only reason I say so is to basically get rid of any remenants of that smoking turbo issue at all. Interior changes mean nothing. The only color I would trade for is the real blue, not CB.

I really don't like the interior upgrades on the 08.5 models. But I really like the CWP ms3, so if I knew it was coming, I probably waited for it.

Other than the color, no regrets whatsoever.

The new interior changes and colors wouldn't have been worth waiting for. Glad I've got my '07 and have been able to enjoy it ever since.

the differences are so minor, but car vs. car, the new interior does nothing for me at all. though i do prefer the alcantara-type stuff on the seats from a tactile standpoint vs. the gray weave that is on my seats between the leather bolsters, but from an aesthetics point of view, the gray looks so much better due to contrast. i think if i was in the market again at this time, i would still try to hunt down a new '08 like mine vs. the '08.5 or whatever they are called, but ultimately the new interior would not keep me from buying the newest version if i could not find exactly what i was looking for with the plain 'ol '08.

08.5 interior sucks and red is the sickest color on the ms3 hands down....why do you think mazda uses it in all its ads? Its just something you have to see in person in broad daylight to appreciate...it truly is...true red. The 08.5 has nice goodies like mp3 and vanity light...but other than that...its just the white that i like....this is all my opinion of course...and yes i have a true red lol

I have a 2007 black mica. If I were to do it over, I'd go with an 08.5 because I really wanted a dark gray car for the past 4 years. And black has been more of a pain in the ass than I expected it to be. Not too thrilled with the new interior trim, but I'd trade it to someone with an 07 or get used to it, lol. The other is that I'm somewhat concerned about the turbo's leaky seals which apparently aren't an issue with the 08s. No problems yet, knock on wood.

I would have gone with the white instead of my CBM. Tinted windows with dark-ish wheels on a white car looks slick. This body style is great

i am 100% satisfied, I personally dont dig the black piano interior (black is my favorite color so go figure), i think the interior we got (07) is perfect.

There would be 3 changes Id make. And those would be the color of the car.. Id get either black or white. 2nd would be, Id love to have the alcantra seats cause Ive always wanted alcantra seats. And 3 I would buy it a lil later than I did for the main reason being, we had a really bad ice storm 4 days after I had mine and wrecked it. So it costed me 460.00 to fix the bumper. Those are my only complaints.

i have an 07 black gt and love it. if i could choose between my 07 and an 08 i still would have stayed with the 07. i love the white option but i have the interior on the 08. just not diggin the black s*** in there
