I present to you, the Passion5

I think it would look pretty nice. Kind of reminds me of the color Matt V painted his FD's...

sweet deal on those wheels. i thought they were 17x6.5 though. what is the stock size for msp tires? 215/40/17? they should fit. otherwise, a 205/45 should work for sure.

I had MattV send me some of the pictures he took down of when he was running the MZ3 wheels. The wheels are in fact 17x6.5 (whoops!) and he was running 205/45/17's which looked great. My only complaint is that the tire selection in that size isn't great and what is available is kinda pricey. I may look at the 215/40/17, and compare but I still have a little while before we get to that point. I'm def. anti hellaflush lol...

One of the wheels has a noticeable flat spot around the rim, so I may have to look for a replacement and use that as a full size spare.

you actually might be able to buff that horrible pink off, seeing as how horrible it is painted they may have just rattle canned over the yellow...

i think that color would look good on the wheels, i cant wait to see how this car gets turned around in the right direction.

Ha! That would have been easy, sadly they soaked the entire car in Aircraft remover - an industrial strength paint/material stripper for those who dont know. Then it was primed and painted, not sure what they used quality wise, but it was a 3 stage job (silver, candy, clear). They worked hard to make it look this bad. The plan is to scuff it up and use the existing paint as my base layer.

No go on the pink for the wheels, not my style ;)

Sneak peak at what went on yesterday, I'll try to get more pictures up later, but all I had was my phone :(.

this pic gave me an idea.

Harlequin P5?

You are going to be painting it anyways. This is my vote!

Or... maybe I'm a bit crazy.

I know this is suppose to be your daily driver, but it can still be unique.

wait are those mazda6 brakes?
DingDingDing! Calipers/Rotors from a 2008 Mazda6 S (V6). Much larger than the stockers, barely fits inside the wheel, can't believe you guys missed that :p I really like the way it fills up the 16" wheel, I may sell off the 17's and just put new tires on the stockers. No motor in yet, those are just the skunk2 coilovers, set to as high as possible ;)

Lol on the Harlequin paint job! It sort of looks that way now, but I'm not sure if it be painted before it's running, but when I do paint it, it will be all one color.

Here's a few more pics that compare the 2008 MZ6 setup to the 2002 P5 (sorry for the crappy phone pics):
