hey guy and girls i just built a MP3 turbo and I'm having trouble with blowing turbos and i don't know why every thing is hooked up right but i still don't have any idea why they keep blowing out can anyone give there input.
^ that, and can you give us more on what you mean by "blown". Im going to guess it has to do with oiling (either pressure issue, or drainage), if your going through them so quickly. But, we definately need more specifics.
what type of turbo? oil or oil+water cooled? what size is your drain? is it properly installed - meaning, there are no kinks, bends, it runs completely vertical coming out of the turbo? where is it returning back to the oil system? how do the turbos fail? oil being pressed out of the seals?
Ok guys the first turbo was a Ebay turbo but the other two where Xs power turbos I'm running a 1/8 in hard line and the drain line is 1/2 in, no kinks or bends in the drain line it dumps straight in to the oil pan. the feed line comes from a sandwich adapter. As for the turbo issues the one broke in half and the other two just have really bad play up and down and in and out.To the point that it starts to brake turbine fins.

You NEED a oil cooler. That is my idea why the turbo's keep going. JDM Sam told me that if I didnt put a oil cooler on (the stock on or aftermarket) the oil would be to hot for the turbo. You NEED a oil cooler with a turbo IMHO
Ok well i read on here that some people run a oil cooler some don't so thats prob my fault should have done it any way but as far as the oil pressure when its cold it runs like 55 pound of oil pressure but as it gets warmer it drop to like 20/22 pounds and this is all at ideal.
no the oil pressure gauge is on the motor in place of the stock one, I'm not really sure of the line size it is really to be used for a brake like but is 1/8 inch line. The drain side is a 1/2 inch line.
