Solid good to hear man. Very good philosophy. I have no complaints with Vakamon, but I understand your point. Also, there is a thread I read about a business going bankrupt that makes superchargers for our applications (2.0L) He is putting his company up for sale... You may want to take an interest in that?

Tell me this...Have you ever entered a shop that had parts in stock that you actually wanted. A shop that actually cared about you or your order, and that actually got it for you on time.

Like omegasport20 said not in AZ, or at least not yet. I have to order everything. I can't even get a stock set of plug wires from the dealership down here without waiting week.


On a side note to answer your question on what to stock, I'd be interested in maintenance and N/A performance parts.

Exhaust system. I just realized a lot of people are having a hard time fixing the exhaust pipes or parts, i.e. Gaskets...Nuts & Bolts.

Tyrone is that you? I never met you yet but I've heard about your from Ross at Hypersports (and of course know you miata from the shows!). Sounds like you have the right recipe to help out us mazda peeps. I am also cool with most if not all the local shops but would be more then happy to back you to get your shop on it's feet. So what area were you thinking of opening up?

Yeah, it's me... I am shooting for a Nimitz location. I am not sure how long it will be till this becomes a reality. Looking at the marketing aspect at this time,
& what kind of return will come from this, besides doing what I love.
If it does become a reality, it would be sometime next year.

Solid! I hear ya man. I always wanted to open up a shop of my own but never quite could come up with the funds and belive it or not it's for the almost exact same reasons as you...... for the love of building cars. Of course turning a profit is always nice! Oh by the way nice spead in DSport! Congrats!
